Tiger Torch Coral - Priced Per Head

The Tiger Torch is one of the most beloved euphyllia corals in the reef hobby — and for good reason. With long, flowing tentacles tipped in distinctive tiger-striped coloration, this coral brings graceful movement and bold visual impact to any reef tank. Under reef lighting, the tentacles sway hypnotically with the flow, creating a living centerpiece that never gets old to watch.

Care Requirements:

• Lighting: Low to medium (75-150 PAR) — Tiger Torches thrive under moderate lighting. Acclimate slowly if transitioning from lower light conditions
• Flow: Low to medium indirect flow — Gentle, alternating flow allows the long tentacles to extend and sway naturally. Avoid direct strong flow which can cause the coral to retract or stress
• Placement: Lower to middle rockwork — Provide ample space around the coral as torch tentacles can extend 4-6" and will sting neighboring corals on contact
• Difficulty: Easy to moderate — A great choice for hobbyists with stable, established reef parameters

Compatibility Note: Torch corals are aggressive and will sting other corals within reach of their sweeper tentacles. Keep at least 6" of clearance from neighboring specimens, especially other LPS corals.

Feeding: Torch corals are active feeders and respond well to target feeding 2-3 times per week with meaty foods such as mysis shrimp, chopped seafood, or quality LPS pellet foods. Well-fed torches show enhanced coloration and faster head splitting.
