• Placement: Middle to lower rockwork with plenty of space - Torch corals have long sweeper tentacles that can sting nearby corals, so provide 6-8 inches of clearance
• Difficulty: Moderate - Best suited for hobbyists with stable reef parameters

Water Parameters: Torch corals require stable alkalinity (8-9 dKH), calcium (400-450 ppm), and magnesium (1250-1350 ppm). Maintain stable temperature (76-78°F) and low nutrients for best results.

Feeding: While photosynthetic, torch corals benefit significantly from target feeding 2-3 times per week with meaty foods like mysis shrimp, reef roids, or quality LPS pellet foods. Feed when tentacles are fully extended for best results.
